Attending to windows with wooden frames can be time consuming as they have many surfaces and extra effort is often necessary. Before applying varnish or paint (or any other finish) to wooden frames, our preparation includes cleaning the wood by removing any loose paint or other previous treatments. Holes are filled and the wood is appropriately sanded before the new treatment is applied. The Finesse team takes care to protect window glass so that it is not damaged during the process.
The same kind of process applies when treating wooden doors or skirting boards. We provide advice regarding the correct product to use for the specific wood concerned, e.g. sealants, varnishes, stains, paints and waxes - depending on the previous treatment the wood has had.
